If that's the case, tell Thom to stop mimicing Jeff Buckley. I'm an avid Muse and Radiohead fan. But they are two totally different bands. It's only really the Showbiz album from Muse that sounds remotely like Radiohead and that's probably due to John Leckie as producer (the guy who produced The Bends). If you listen to Origin of Symmetry (Muse) and then say that album (and subsequently Muse) is Radioheadesque, then you're just not very clever.

This is my favorite song by Radiohead (next to 2+2=5). Radiohead is just pure genius. Muse is...ok-ish. Radiohead is far superior. XD
